Whichever tour you opt for, you'll find that we have planned a good deal of free time for you to do your own thing, combining relaxation, sightseeing and shopping with the touring and special places of interest that we've arranged for you - everything from private gardens and historic railways to impressive châteaux. 

Little touches that you've come to expect

With only a few exceptions, we have been careful to choose only character hotels noted for their good value and location, from where you can wander down to the shops and cafés by day or take an evening stroll to a bar for a nightcap after dinner.

And we haven't forgotten that one of the most pleasant tasks of any holiday lies in deciding where and what you would like to eat, so we give you plenty of opportunity to take your pick from quayside bistros, bustling brasseries or gourmet restaurants. Where meals are included, our general aim is to upgrade the standard menu where we deem necessary and usually to include house wine too, at no extra charge.
