A cleaning and breakage deposit of £150, payable in cash, will be requested on arrival at the property in exchange for a receipt. This will be returned in full if there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owners may, at their discretion, deduct additional cleaning charges (typically 30€) from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.

A small road winds its way up the hillside from the Marine de Farinole to the sleepy village itself. Casa Kallisté is found at the end of a fairly steep driveway with a few neighbouring properties, all of which are occupied by locals. The interior of the property has been tastefully renovated and has an elegant classical feel with hand-crafted ceramic tiles adorning the floors and a chandelier in the dining room. Pastel-coloured walls, a modern kitchen and a contemporary shower room add to the overall appeal
The trump card of this lovely house has to be its enclosed terrace and garden, a delightful spot which affords a good degree of privacy thanks to a couple of olive trees, myrtle bushes, a clementine tree, a palm tree and a beautiful flowering bougainvillea. The glorious sea views are inescapable and, from most of the rooms in the house, one is treated to the most wonderful outlook and breathtaking sunsets!

Activities: Beach at the Marine de Farinole (2km) with beachside restaurant. The beach at St Florent has windsurfing, paragliding, kayak tours, jet skiing and boat rental available. Boat trips to the Plages de Loto and Saleccia leave from the marina in St Florent. Horse riding available in St Florent and Murato (22km). Patrimonio open-air guitar festival in July.
Services: In Patrimonio there is a small supermarket, a post office, four restaurants and a bar while larger supermarkets can be found in St Florent or Bastia. Market in St Florent on the first Wednesday of every month. Parking available at the property.
In the area: The Cap Corse region of Corsica is spectacular, with many tiny villages clinging to the rugged landscape. A short drive up the coast will bring you to Nonza, perched on the cliff edge, which has a few restaurants but most notably the remains of a Genoese tower, instantly recognisable as you approach the village. Beautiful St Florent, often referred to as le petit St Tropez, lies some 12km to the south. This chic little port plays host to the French & Italian jet set throughout the summer and a gentle stroll past the yachts lining the quayside, after a meal in one of the fantastic seafood restaurants, is a great way to wind down.
