A former royal hunting lodge and today a monument historique, the Domaine de Joinville is a family-run hotel, situated in extensive parkland a short distance from the baie de Somme on the Picardy/Normandy border.
ROOMS
23 rooms split between the main pavillon and its dépendances a few yards away (all first floor, no lift), all individually decorated and featuring TV, minibar and bath/wc. Luxe rooms are mainly located in the annexes, are larger and overlook the pool or main building.
RESTAURANT
A creative, daily-changing menu without choice, created by the chef/patron, reflects the hotel’s proximity to the sea and features the freshest local produce. Good range of wines lacking only a simple cuvée maison.
