Charcoal barbecues are not permitted at this property. A mobile electric barbecue is available though this must only be used on the terrace of the property in order to eliminate the risk of fire.
Any other price related conditions
A breakage deposit of 150€ is payable in cash upon arrival. This will be returned on the morning of departure (less charges for items not included in the price), provided there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owner may, at their discretion, make a minimum deduction of 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Electricity (radiator in each room) is not included and must be paid for on departure.  
Household linen is available and chargeable.  One set costs 20€ for two people and 5€ for each additional person.  One hand towel, one bath towel and one flannel per person, plus two tea towels and two kitchen towels per booking will be provided.  Extra sets are not available.
Gazelou is a 4-bedroomed villa, sleeping 8 (+ baby), on the outskirts of the small town of Pernes-les-Fontaines (Vaucluse), 6km S of Carpentras, 20km NE of Avignon (Michelin map: 527). VFB is delighted to have featured this property since 1997. Saturday arrival.

A spacious, detached villa with swimming pool, built in regional style and set in its own grounds of 2500m² in a residential area within walking distance of the town of Pernes-les-Fontaines in the Vaucluse. Inside, smart contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen and light décor create welcoming and appealing living areas combined with a more simply appointed first floor to create accommodation of a good standard overall. French windows lead out of all south-facing rooms on to the partly covered sunny terrace (approximately 10m x 4m), beyond which the private pool (10m x 4m, depth 1m20 at edges - 1m80 in the middle) is set in well-maintained and partially enclosed grounds of rough grass, pines, oleander and lavender, with a ‘wilder’ area to the rear, which ensures a good degree of privacy from the nearest neighbours some 60m away. The setting is peaceful and secluded yet village shops are just a walk downhill. Either the friendly, retired owner or his partner, who is an English teacher, will welcome guests here and a young man will come to look after the pool. Spruce, tranquil and private accommodation, with superb sightseeing possibilities: appealing Pernes with its fountains, splendid Avignon and the Vaucluse plateau and Lubéron mountains, where woods and charming hill villages invite exploration.
