Pets accepted free of charge
A handsome building in a gloriously pastoral location, nestling peacefully in its own spacious gardens, complete with a little trout stream. The foothills of the central Pyrenees are on the doorstep, and the hotel is just 20 miles from the border with Spain.
ROOMS
The 19 rooms are individually decorated in a quirky and unique style thanks to the flair of Madame Ferran, the charming patronne. Most VFB rooms have a balcony and junior suites are larger. A lift serves both floors but there are a few steps along the corridor.
RESTAURANT
Two elegant dining rooms where the chef/patron’s daily-changing menu without choice offers the chance to sample traditional, regional delicacies.
IN THE AREA
A wealth of country activities from walking to horse riding, biking, fishing and golf. Sorties into the high Pyrenees and across into Spain. Quaint villages such as hilltop Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, with its 12th-century cathedral.
