The Hotel Lutetia, located in the Saint-Germain-des-Pres district in Paris, France, pays homage to a time long since gone. The 1920s decor is kept alive through Art Deco furniture architecture and art. This lovely hotel truly embraces the Art Deco and Belle Epoque periods.

Many of the Hotel Lutetia's rooms give guests a view of the Eiffel Tower and the river Seine, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Musee d Orsay are within walking distance. Guests also have easy access to the plethora of designer studios and boutique shops on the Left Bank.

Each of the 200 rooms and suites have been upgraded to include air-conditioning satellite television, a hairdryer, a safe and a private bath. However, the upgrade to modern conveniences did not take away from the charm and style of the Hotel Lutetia's rooms, which were designed in the 1930s.

When you arrive at the Hotel Lutetia, you are greeted by a statue of Gustave Eiffel. Guests can roam the hotel and look at pictures of all the artists that used to live at Hotel Lutetia. The hotel embodies culture and history which is shared through paintings, decor and photographs. Some of the Hotel Lutetia's paintings were done by famous artists such as Perrin, Thierry Bisch, Arman, Cesar and Philippe Hiquily.

The Hotel Lutetia is proud to host jazz and piano musicians in one of its two full bars. There is also a gourmet restaurant for hungry guests and travelers as well as a brasserie.
