Children under 4: Parents are asked to pay the hotel direct for cot/bed and any food ordered. Parents can sometimes arrange for their children to dine early (from 7.15pm).
The San Giovanni is a family-run hotel, standing in a tranquil location on a country lane, about 2km outside Porto-Vecchio. Its trump card is undoubtedly its beautiful seven-acre private parc. This popular and friendly hotel is an excellent choice for families.
The main building houses 11 of the 30 bedrooms, the bar and the air-conditioned dining room with conservatory extension. The remaining bedrooms are in a low-rise building in the garden and are approached from the pretty terrace outside the conservatory. All bathrooms have recently been refurbished and have shower/wc. Bedrooms also have TV, telephone, hairdryer and a balcony or terrace. Half board includes a daily-changing menu with choice and a copius buffet breakfast. A heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and tennis court (free to VFB guests) are found in the hotel's colourful garden.

As a diversion from the choice of magnificent beaches in the area, Bonifacio, Sartène, the Ospédale forest and the Col de Bavella are all within easy reach.
