This unassuming little hotel sits alongside a local road on the outskirts of a rural hamlet close to the Golfe du Morbihan. The charming owners have successfully combined modern décor with a relaxing ambience and a restaurant that punches well above its weight. The hotel offers excellent value for money off the beaten tourist track.
ROOMS
18 rooms divided between two floors (no lift). Superior rooms are larger and have been renovated in the same modern style as the bar and restaurant. Standard rooms are smaller, simpler and more traditional in style. All rooms feature satellite TV.
RESTAURANT
Attentively run by the chef/patron, the restaurant features cuisine with a strong emphasis on fresh fish and beautifully-presented dishes. A fine wine list (lacking only a simple cuvée maison) and enthusiastic sommelier complete the culinary experience. A set menu with choice is included.
IN THE AREA
The wild wetlands of the Auray Estuary. The Golfe du Morbihan, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Quaint harbours and villages, sandy beaches and prehistoric stones abound to perfectly blend the transition between Brittany and the Atlantic coast.
