A breakage deposit of 100€ is payable in cash upon arrival. This will be returned on the morning of departure (less charges for items not included in the price), provided there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owners may, at their discretion, make a minimum deduction of 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Household linen is available and chargeable. One set costs 20€ for two people and 5€ for each additional person. One hand towel, one bath towel and one flannel per person, plus two tea towels and two kitchen towels per booking will be provided. Extra sets are not available.

This is a two-storey cottage, converted for the owner’s use in 1997, standing by itself in a secluded location amid working farms and farmland with pleasant outlook on all sides from its elevated position over miles of Limousin countryside. Fine stonework and exposed timbers reflect the turn-of-the-century origins of this charming, attractive property which has new fixtures and fittings and a well-equipped fitted kitchen. Mezzanine bedrooms have been cleverly built into the roof space, (one overlooking the kitchen, one the living-room, but curtained off and not communicating with each other) where walls of stone, brick and bright paintwork create a welcoming ambiance. Accommodation of a very good standard, very well maintained with an overall feeling of light, warmth and comfort. Beyond the partly covered terrace at the front (approx. 3m x 4m), edged with lavender, are extensive grassy areas all around the property, offering peace, seclusion and space. The friendly owners, who speak fluent English, live in Limoges and either they or a member of their family, who live locally, will welcome guests here. Visits in the area include Limoges, famous for its porcelain and a centre for concerts and summer festivals, delightful Brantôme on the Dronne, Bourdeilles and its two châteaux and rather notable sites of the northern Dordogne within a short drive.
