Price includes: your chosen property on a rental-only basis from 1700 hours on the Saturday of arrival to 1000 hours on the Saturday of departure.
Arrival must be by 2000 hours.

A breakage deposit of 125€ is payable uponal arrival. This will be returned on the morning of departure (less charges for items not included in the price), provided there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owners may, at their discretion, make a minimum deduction of 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Electricity is not included and must be paid for on departure.
Household linen is available and chargeable. One set costs 20€ for two people and 5€ for each additional person. One hand towel, one bath towel and one flannel per person, plus two tea towels and two kitchen towels per booking will be provided. Extra sets are not available.

This is a 19th-century semi-detached property, set in a courtyard, with dépendances. Restored in 1990 to a very high standard, it typifies the style of the Charente-Maritime with its exposed stone and blue shutters. The ground floor has a large open-plan living/dining area, made very attractive with several french windows, quality fittings, and stylish furnishings including a glass dining table. Behind the breakfast bar is the smart, well-equipped kitchen while bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, are particularly comfortable and inviting. French windows open on to a partly covered, well-furnished terrace, with built-in barbecue and lighting, beyond which is the garden (approximately 15m x 20m) with an umbrella pine, perowskia, hypericum and buddleia. Here one also finds the swimming pool (10m x 5m, depth 0m80 - 2m50) and a small covered terrace with built-in barbecue. The owner, who lives in Cherbourg, has a representative in the village who will personally welcome guests here. The beach at Châtelaillon is just minutes away and other visits include oyster beds at Marennes (35km) and boat trips to the Ile d’Oléron and ornithological park at 15km. The lively resort and port of La Rochelle is only 20km away and the Ile de Ré, accessible by toll bridge (17€) with its pretty village, harbours and hollyhock-lined lanes, is also well worth a visit.
